Contact lenses are medical devises that can greatly enhance quality of vision and life.

State  of the art equipment is available to measure your cornea to ensure the best fit.

Special eyes require special contact lenses. The latest in contact lens technology is available for the most difficulty contact lens fits.

All of these measures help to allow you to focus on other things while we focus on your eyes.

We are Contact Lens Specialists!

A contact lens exam can differ greatly from an eye examination for glasses.  At times it involves the actual design of a lens from scratch!  Just as with glasses, contact lenses can come in all shapes and sizes with complex engineering involved to help you attain the best vision with the greatest comfort while still being as healthy as possible for you.

Here at Hands On, you get to experience contact lenses in several different ways.  However, we never leave you out to "dry."  In other words, we don't just give you a contact lens prescription and then say "good luck."  Instead, we always try to provide a service along with your lenses in order to ensure that you're getting what's best and healthiest for you.

Here are a few ways you will be able to benefit from our services:

  • Soft Contact Lenses:  We can fit regular, high prescriptions, astigmatism, high astigmatism, color contacts, etc...
  • Gas Permeable Contacts: We take into account the many parameters necessary to fit and design these lenses for each specific individual.  These lenses are ideal for all types of prescriptions including astigmatism and bifocals.
  • Keratoconic and other medically necessary contacts: People with this corneal condition need special attention and patience for which our office is specially designed to provide.
  • Specialty Color Contacts:  We also fit color contact lenses which can match/mimic real eye colors.  This is useful for people who have certain iris conditions.  However, it is also available for professionals like actors and actresses.
  • Specialty Contact Lenses: This service is coming through which we will provide specially made contact lenses for people who have had corneal surgery, need contacts after having Lasik or Refractive Surgery, Post-Cataract Lenses, and other challenging fit patients.  This will be helpful for both patients and doctors.
  • Presbyopic Fits:  Are you suddenly having difficulty reading?  This is common a problem for many of us.  It would be nice if you could put those reading glasses in your eye.  Many times this actually can be done with the use of the proper contact lenses.  At times this fitting process can be difficult, however we fit many different type of contact lenses, with varying forms of engineering, on so many different types of people.
  • Orthokeratology: Would you like to see without glasses, contacts, or surgery during the day? Well its possible.
  • And other difficult to fit contact lenses.
