Hands On EyeCare

Every year millions of Americans have their eyes examined.  Some for glasses or contacts, others for eye diseases, and others in order to help their physicians monitor systemic issues throughout their bodies.  No matter the reason for the visit, an eye examination is always a good idea.

The fact is that an eye exam is simply much more than "which one is better, one or two."  It involves the evaluation of two complex processes…

            2) eye health

Seeing well is so important to our daily lives, yet we often take our sight for granted.

In addition, the eye doctor must pay close attention to details, not only to make sure that your vision is optimal, but that your health is intact and that all of your ocular needs are met to match your lifestyle.  A typical exam involves a check of your vision, eye pressure, a brief neurological evaluation, and a check of the front and back of the eye.
